#BLOGGER LOOKPOST: @LONDAM_HOLLAND_ : SAFARI CHIC

Had the privilege to work with my little sister, blogger name Londam_Holland_, recently when she asked me to shoot her lookpost and see how I do.

Shooting a blogger look post has to be approached with caution because you are ultimately dealing with the concept of Personal Branding. Although usually bloggers dont go by their birth names, their blogger names are their identity at events and launches and a huge part of their everyday life, as some make career paths from blogging and blogger names. 

Trevor Stuurman, Tshepi Vundla, New Hipsterstyle, Baked the Blog etc can all vouch for this. 

Tried to capture LONDAM HOLLAND, in the natural surrounds while still holding on to the glamour and chic that should and can still exist while in the bush and which she wanted to portray.

Natural makeup on the face to direct focus completely on what she was wearing.

A very good friend of mine for about 5 years.

What was special about this showcase is that I have watched her design growth over the years, from when she made my first garment for my traditional 21st.

Thabo was one of the Luftansa 1st Best Collections entrants.
First prize was a trip to Berlin Fashion Week.

With this showcase she truly has pushed her own boundries by fusing her trademark basotho blanket influences with modern contouring and venturing into the use of chiffon and silks.
