Had the opportunity to go to downtown JHB on a Friday evening and be in the middle of the mayhem of a recording and production of a live show.
A bridge between staged and not staged, the cameras, equipment and crew where all in their positions, while the crowd was as unstaged as possible. You simply can't stage energy.
It was a joy to try capture the two contrasts.
The main attraction of the night was Simphiwe Dana. Goddess in all her musical glory, launching her new album Firebrand.
