#BIRTHDAYS: A YEAR MILESTONE FOR PHATSIMO.

I was lucky for this one. The luck lay in the fact that I adore children. Tumi's niece Phatsimo turned one and I knew that it was going to be a day of capturing energizer bunnies running and causing chaos. I still have to work on the motion shots, but I had alot of fun playing with distances and contrasts.
A child's face, eyes... can say so much, even though the mouth can't articulate much yet. I attempted to capture that.
Happy birthday Phatsi.

Aunty Siwe loves you.

  1. Gal, the album of rare angled birthday shots is amazingly capturing the seemingly insignificant spaces and objects into stark naked focus thus bringing the reality of viewing the whole event in a complete story line. The black and white images of kids especially, depict the innocence in expressions of their tender life experiences. Their world is indeed clearly in black or white...either blissful or sad and certainly nothing in between...

Carry on polishing the photo gem for its refinement and sparkle...Ma T
